Chandigarh, September 28-  Haryana Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs  Sh. Rajesh Nagar said that the key road connecting Palla-Sehatpur with Basantpur in Faridabad district's Tigaon Assembly constituency will be four-laned at an estimated cost of around Rs 35 crore. The road, spanning more than 4.6 kilometres, will improve traffic movement and provide greater convenience to commuters.

 

Sh. Rajesh Nagar said continuous efforts are being made to strengthen connectivity and accelerate development in the area. He said the demand for widening the Palla-Sehatpur-Basantpur Road into a four-lane road has been a longstanding requirement of the area. The proposed road will also have bus stops and other necessary facilities for daily commuters.

 

He said the four-laning of the road will help ease traffic pressure, facilitate smoother movement and give further impetus to development in the area. Connectivity with nearby areas, including Sectors 35 and 37, Ashoka Enclave, Sarai Khwaja, Molarband, Etmadpur, IP Colony, Badarpur and Agwanpur Dairy, will also be strengthened.

 

Sh. Rajesh Nagar expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini for approving and advancing this important project. He said development works across the state are being expedited under the Chief Minister's leadership, with projects in the Tigaon Assembly constituency also being taken up on priority according to the needs of the people.
